Hello everyone, and welcome to the VERY FIRST Wendy Sorensen Photography blog post!  

As an Urbandale Maternity Photographer, I can't think of a better session to have for my very first blog.  The photos I'm sharing with you today turned out so beautifully.  As I was editing the photos for this blog post, I kept getting more and more excited with how they all turned out and am eager to share them with you!

Before I debut this session though, I want to first tell you about Lacey and Nick. They are anxiously awaiting the arrival of their little man in just over a month.  If that isn't reason to celebrate, I don't know what is!  

We met up at Water Works Park in Des Moines on May 13, 2017, and Lacey was just glowing for her sunrise maternity session.  I knew we were in for a fantastic morning.

Lacey wore two different dresses for her session and she looked beautiful in both of them.  

I've been itching to do a maternity session with mama in a long flowing maternity gown, and was excited to purchase this ivory gown to have available for my maternity clients.  I was thrilled that Lacey was willing to try it for her session.  She is a stunning mama to be and couldn't be more beautiful!  These photos near the tree swing were some of my personal favorites from their session.

We had a really great time together and I know that Lacey and Nick are going to make the best parents to their sweet little guy.  This baby is so very loved already.
