Connor Turns Three! Urbandale, Iowa Family Photographer

I recently had a fantastic session with the C family.  As an Urbandale family and child photographer, I've said it before and I'll say it again – I truly have the best clients ever!  This family was no exception either.  I know Beth from our MOPS group and got to meet her husband Brian and their son, Connor, who just turned 3!

We met at Walnut Creek Regional Park in Urbandale for their portrait session. I love photographing there because of it's raw natural beauty - mature trees, tall native grasses in an open field, and a nice walking/biking path that runs along the creek.  It's such a peaceful area in the middle of town.

For their session, mom and dad brought along a sailor shirt that Brian wore when he was about Connor's age.  I was able to work in the adorable sailor shirt with a few shots in my vintage Radio Flyer red wagon, which really made for some fun photos.

As we were walking from one part of the park to another, Connor stops and says "Hey!  There's a reindeer!"  Good eye Buddy!

Once we wrapped up at Walnut Creek Regional Park we high-tailed it over to Warrior Park in Waukee to catch some amazing silhouette shots at sunset, right before thunderstorms rolled in.  With lightning about 10-15 miles south of us, the stormy skies made for an incredible sunset.

Even though it was pretty warm and humid that night, it truly was an amazing and fun session, sweat and all!

It’s easy to see that this family is not only photogenic, but also a close-knit group who clearly love spending time together.  They are truly blessed to have each other.

Happy 3rd Birthday Connor!  May God continue to bless you as you grow in Him.

Here are a few more highlights from the C family's session - enjoy!
