Jackson ~ Urbandale High School Class of 2020 {Des Moines Senior Photographer}
Meet Jackson, Senior at Urbandale High School.
Jackson lives in the same subdivision as I do but I hadn’t seen him in a very long time. I remembered him as a younger boy not that much older than my own boys now, playing outside in our neighborhood.
Man is he tall! And he’s not a kid anymore that’s for sure.
We started Jackson’s session at the Urbandale Historical Society’s Olmsted-Urban House. The ‘four square’ home built in 1904 as well as the big red barn provided a unique setting in the middle of town for his senior pictures.
I love it when parents let me get a quick shot or two of them with their soon-to-be grad. Their love for one another is truly touching.
After wrapping up at the Olmsted-Urban House we went up the street to Frerichs Field at Urbandale High School to finish Jackson’s session in his soccer uniform. Besides being #10 for the J-Hawks Varsity soccer team, he is also a kicker for their football team.
A guy of many talents. And great hair.
I’m not really a sports photographer but I’ve actually come to enjoy photographing high school seniors in their sports jersey out on the field. These types of shots always end up being some of my favorites, and since it’s such an important part of their high school career, the Senior loves them too.
Does your High School Senior still need to get their Senior pictures done? The school year is well underway, and I know both Urbandale High School and Des Moines Christian School are celebrating Homecoming this week. Mom and Dad – I know it’s crazy now, but it’s only going to get busier. Contact me today for a no-obligation consultation. I’d love to show you how we can create a beautiful wall portrait for your son or daughter, complete with an heirloom album of all of your favorite images, and grad cards that are done for you.
I know you are more than capable, but do you really have time to do all these things yourself? Are these the things you want to be spending your time on? I’d love to help. Let me take these things off of your ever growing to-do list.
