Last week I shared Tara's images from her stunning sunset maternity session, and now I'm thrilled to share photographs from her in-home lifestyle newborn session!

Introducing.....sweet lil' baby B, just 9 days new.

Besides mommy and daddy she is joined by a big sister and big brother who adore her beyond words.

As an Urbandale newborn lifestyle photographer, my favorite place to do a newborn session is in my client's home because, well, it's home. Home. Where everyday moments are truly incredible, even in the mundane. Where you feel most safe and secure. Where everybody knows your name......

(Sorry, I couldn't resist that one! )

We started off with baby B getting a full tummy so she'd be happy and content (and hopefully sleepy!) for the rest of the session.

But you know what? She wasn't so sleepy, even with a full tummy. But she was so bright eyed looking around at mom and dad, sister and brother. I really do love wide awake baby shots too. I mean, those eyes!

Big sister and big brother are absolutely smitten with her. I see these 3 being best friends for a lifetime. Oh my heart....

Daddy's little girl, safe in his strong arms. Pretty sure he's smitten too.
