When it comes to senior pictures, I would guess that most senior guys aren’t too terribly excited about the idea. They’ll do it for Mom, but if left to their own devices they’d likely say “No thanks!”
I’m not sure what Kael’s *real* thoughts were, but if he was dreading things you’d sure never know it by looking at his senior pictures! In all honesty, I really think he had a great time (or at least it wasn’t as bad as he thought!).
Kael is a senior at Urbandale High School and is one heck of a nice guy. Really. He’s also a member of the baseball and track teams, so you know he's got some serious athletic skills. But let me tell you, his senior photos are not just about showing off his sportsmanship - they're also about having fun!
Senior Sports Photos Des Moines
We started the session at Frerichs Field on the Urbandale High School campus to get a few shots on the track, and then moved on to Barton Field for some baseball photos. You should see this guy swing the bat! Unfortunately for this Urbandale Pitcher the mound was covered with a tarp the day of our session but we didn’t let that stop us.
Senior Pictures in Greenwood Park, Des Moines, IA
Greenwood Park in Des Moines is always a popular spot for senior pictures, and for good reason. There’s tons of variety in one place, and the colors are beautiful in the fall! A plaid flannel button down shirt paired with a solid tee shirt is always a great choice for senior guys. He really did a great job incorporating layers and patterns in his outfit choices.
The Des Moines Art Center is on the north end of the park and adds a more contemporary element to a senior session with cool architectural interest. Kael looked effortlessly cool in a pair of khakis and a crisp button-down shirt.
Throughout the session, Kael proved that senior photos can be fun for guys too. He was well-spoken, confident, and a total natural in front of the camera. And even though he might have been a bit nervous at first, you’d never know it. Between you and me, I think he ended up having a great time!
